University of Scranton is seeking a Groundskeeper for the 1st shift to maintain the campus grounds, perform lawn care, and assist with events. The role requires physical work, early hours, and the ability to respond to winter conditions.

Responsibilities include landscaping, snow removal, and supporting university operations. A High School diploma and a PA driver''s license are required. The position is full-time and on-site.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid PA driver''s license is required.
• Must be available for early morning shifts and emergencies.
• Willingness to train on equipment and safety procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Examines and maintains University grounds, removes graffiti and litter.
• Mows and trims grass; operates power mowers, tractors, and related equipment.
• Maintains parking lots, cleans oil and grease spots, and marks spaces.
• Weeds and plants flower beds; installs mulch and landscaping materials.
• Maintains athletic fields and decorates campus for holidays.
• Operates snow removal equipment during winter and other duties as required.
• Rakes leaves and assists with events and setup; assists with campus projects.
