Bucks County Community College is seeking a Grounds III to maintain campus appearance and safety, with shift 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Under the Grounds Supervisor, you will perform routine maintenance, operate equipment, assist with snow removal, and support events across multiple campus locations. The role emphasizes safety and customer service for students, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• 2 years of groundskeeping or related outdoor work required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience operating commercial grounds equipment preferred.
• Commitment to safety and ability to work in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, and litter removal.
• Plant, water, prune, mulch, fertilize, and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and other landscaped areas.
• Operate grounds equipment such as mowers, trimmers, utility vehicles, and snow removal equipment.
• Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance needs.
• Assist with snow and ice removal and emergency weather response.
• Support campus events, site preparation, and special projects.
• Ensure campus grounds are safe and report hazards.
• Collaborate with Facilities and Maintenance staff on projects.
• Support operations across multiple campus locations.
• Participate in emergency response and training.
• Attend required training and safety meetings.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
