Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin seeks a Landscape Services Supervisor to lead care, maintenance, and enhancement of campus grounds. You will plan, coordinate, and supervise landscaping operations including mowing, irrigation repair, fertilization, pruning, and upkeep.

Manage staff, materials, and resources to meet long-range goals and departmental objectives. This exempt, full-time role requires a Bachelor's degree in horticulture or related field and at least five years of landscape

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in horticulture or related field or equivalent experience.
• Five years in landscape maintenance with four years of supervisory experience.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with staff.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Direct several landscaping crews to perform tasks to established standards.
• Maintain equipment records and order tools and plant materials.
• Enter daily labor and timekeeping into UT Works and process time reports.
• Support budgeting, planning, and implementation of landscape projects.
• Coordinate labor for campus events and safety procedures.
