Job summary

University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Landscape Services Supervisor to provide leadership and hands-on oversight for grounds care on the UT campus. You will supervise crews, coordinate mowing, irrigation repair, fertilization, and pruning while managing staff assignments and resources to support long-range landscaping goals.

The role requires a Bachelor’s (or equivalent) in horticulture with several years in landscape maintenance and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture or related field or equivalent experience.
• Five years of landscape maintenance with four years supervisory experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and obtain a TX Pesticide Applicator’s License within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Supervise landscaping crews and maintain turf, shrubs, irrigation, and hardscape.
• Direct multiple crews, perform timekeeping, evaluations, and discipline as needed.
• Enter daily labor records in UT Works and manage work orders.
