The Governor’s Academy, a historic boarding school north of Boston, is seeking a Grounds & Sports Turf Supervisor to lead the campus Grounds and Landscaping team. You will oversee daily operations, plan schedules, manage turf and landscape projects, and coordinate with Athletics to maintain safe, attractive athletic fields and grounds across a 400+ acre campus.

Qualifications

• Five years of grounds maintenance and supervisory experience.
• Ability to motivate others and maintain a positive workplace.
• Interpret work orders and prioritize tasks for the team.
• Respond during off hours including snow removal and events.
• Communicate clearly with staff, departments, and contractors.
• Use computer tools to support work orders and maintenance.

Responsabilités

• Supervise, train, and support the Grounds & Sports Turf team.
• Oversee care of extensive campus grounds and athletic fields.
• Maintain seasonal grounds schedules and prioritize work.
• Oversee turf management, irrigation, drainage, and fertilization.
• Coordinate with Athletics on field schedules and events.
• Operate grounds equipment and coordinate with Mechanic for maintenance.
• Use CMMS to plan, track, and communicate tasks.
• Inspect grounds and implement landscape improvements as needed.
