The Governor’s Academy, located thirty miles north of Boston, is seeking a Grounds & Sports Turf Supervisor with a strong background in grounds maintenance and supervisory leadership. The role oversees a large campus, including athletic fields, and emphasizes safety, coordination with campus departments, and efficient maintenance workflows.

Qualifications

• 5 years of grounds maintenance or turf management with supervisory experience.
• Ability to respond during off hours, including snow removal and events.
• Strong communication with staff, contractors, and campus stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Supervise Grounds & Sports Turf team, assign daily work and monitor performance.
• Oversee care of extensive grounds, athletic fields, lawns, trees and landscaped areas.
• Develop seasonal schedules and prioritize work based on campus needs and events.
• Coordinate with Athletics and other departments on field schedules and maintenance.
• Operate and maintain grounds equipment, and coordinate with Mechanic for repairs.
• Use CMMS to plan, track, and communicate maintenance tasks.
