Job summary

Kinsley Power Systems is seeking a Skilled Tradesman to maintain campus grounds and support multiple skilled trades. The role involves mowing, landscaping, irrigation, and seasonal upkeep to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

The position requires experience with zero-turn mowers and tractors, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Formal training in groundskeeping or related field is preferred.
• Experience operating lawn maintenance equipment and performing seasonal tasks.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance of campus grounds including mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, planting, watering, fertilizing, and mulching.
• Operate and maintain groundskeeping tools and equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, utility vehicles, and tractors.
• Conduct seasonal duties including leaf collection, snow and ice removal, salting/sanding of walkways, and storm cleanup.
• Remove litter, debris, and trash from campus outdoor areas, parking lots, and walkways.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on groundskeeping equipment and report major repair needs.
• Assist other skilled tradesmen to complete project/tasks.
