Job summary

Kendal at Lexington is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain campus beauty, safety, and function through mowing, landscaping, and exterior support tasks. You will operate landscaping equipment and support inclement weather responses while collaborating with a friendly team.

The role requires a high school diploma, a Virginia driver’s license, and the ability to read, write, and follow instructions. Training and PPE are provided, with a strong emphasis on resident safety and community values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Virginia driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
• Ability to read, write and follow instructions; communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform grounds, landscaping, and exterior upkeep across the Kendal at Lexington campus.
• Operate mowers, tractors, chainsaws, and related equipment safely.
• Maintain campus beautification and sustainability efforts, indoors and outdoors.
• Assist with weather-related maintenance and incident reporting as needed.
• Document work orders and ensure proper equipment storage after use.
