Kinsley Construction Inc. is seeking a full-time Environmental Technician to support our crew. The role involves assisting operators, installing stabilization matting, seeding, hydroseeding, and planting trees and shrubs on diverse sites.

Successful candidates should be physically fit to work outdoors in varying weather and terrain. This position is safety sensitive per company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent educational experience; vocational school or trade apprenticeships is a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and on varied terrain for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Transports and installs stabilization matting in wetlands, hills, and stream banks.
• Performs seeding, strawing, and hydroseeding tasks.
• Plants trees and shrubs, and transports materials as needed.
• Reads blueprints and project plans to aid in jobsite layout.
• Operates power tools and equipment safely to dig, load and unload plants.
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment following site safety rules.
