Job summary

Creative Dining Services on site at Northwood University in Midland, MI is looking for a passionate Grill Cook to join the campus culinary team. This full-time, on-site role offers hourly pay between $15.50 and $17.50 with 30–40 hours per week during the Fall and Winter/Spring semesters.

• At least 2 years of culinary experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious food items by following established recipes and menus, ensuring freshness, quality, and visual appeal.
• Utilize batch cooking techniques to avoid over or under production.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment at all times.
• Open and/or close the kitchen when required, securing doors and equipment.
• Support other kitchen staff to ensure essential functions are performed.
• Build strong relationships with students, staff, and campus partners.
