Compass Group USA on the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater campus is seeking a full-time Grill Cook to prepare food at the grill station and serve customers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior food service and customer service experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation.
• Completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations.
• Serves customers in an efficient, friendly manner following established steps of service.
• Ensures food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from workstations safely.
• Stores foods in designated areas following standard wrapping, dating and food safety procedures.
• Cleans, sanitizes and maintains all assigned work areas and equipment.
