Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Front Desk in Dover, DE to greet visitors, manage access, and monitor security systems at a higher education site. This part-time role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to contribute to a welcoming campus environment while supporting our agile, innovative culture.

You will provide front desk services, answer questions, and document incidents with clear communication, leveraging our smart tools and teamwork to ensure safety and service

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at the front desk, follow site policies and emergency procedures.
• Monitor front desk, greet visitors, manage access and complete logs/reports.
• Respond calmly to incidents, notify personnel and document actions.
