UC Irvine Dining Services seeks a Food Service Worker to assist with the preparation and serving of food, while maintaining safe handling, sanitation, and proper equipment use. You will support line setup, work during nights and weekends, and deliver courteous service to the campus community.

Position is a 10-month, full-time role with evening and weekend requirements. A strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and visiting card standards ensures high-quality dining experiences for students,

Formación

• 1-3 years experience in a food handling environment.
• 1-3 years experience working in the food service industry performing food preparation, dish washing, and/or hospitality services.
• Speak, write and understand English.
• Knowledge of safe food handling guidelines.
• Ability to focus on customer service.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with the preparation and serving of food.
• Ensure proper food handling and sanitation.
• Handle knives and equipment safely and correctly.
• Set up the line in an orderly fashion.
• Provide customer service and assist customers as needed.
• Clean and sanitize pots, pans and equipment.
