Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Food Service Worker to perform a variety of tasks in the kitchen, cafeteria, dishroom and patient services, including meal assembly, service and delivery, and maintaining sanitation and safety. Reporting to the Food Services Manager, you will work in shifts that may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, and you will read and follow written instructions in English.

Preferred candidates have experience in kitchen/dining environments and knowledge of sanitary

• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Knowledge and practice of kitchen sanitary control techniques.
