Job summary

Upper Crust Food Service is seeking a versatile Food Service Worker to support high-volume kitchen and catering operations. You will assist with food prep, dough handling, pizza ovens, and dining hall service, while maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

The role requires 1–2 years in a kitchen or catering setting, basic knife skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A Food Handler’s Card is preferred with a flexible schedule including weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in kitchen or catering environment preferred.
• Basic knife skills and familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment.
• Strong communication and reliability are essential during busy service hours.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Execute prep tasks: wash, peel, cut ingredients per recipes.
• Master dough prep, add toppings, operate pizza ovens for quality.
• Support catering setup and breakdown, food transport, guest service.
• Assist Chef by retrieving equipment and managing par-cooked items.
• Maintain clean, sanitized work areas and proper stock levels.
• Check-in students, collect meal payments, and restock dining hall.
