Job summary

Upper Crust Food Service, LLC in the United States seeks a versatile Food Service Worker to support daily back and front of house operations, from high-volume prep to catering support and dining hall restocking. You will work closely with the Chef and Dining Director to uphold quality, safety, and sanitation standards.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in kitchen or catering, basic knife skills, and a Food Handler’s Card.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years kitchen or catering background.
• Basic knife skills and familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent communication with team during busy service hours.

Responsibilities

• Execute prep tasks (washing, peeling, cutting) per recipes.
• Master dough prep, toppings, and pizza ovens for consistent quality.
• Support catering events setup/breakdown, food transport, buffet arrangements.
• Assist Chef by retrieving equipment and managing par-cooked items.
• Maintain clean, sanitized work areas and tools per health regs.
• Wrap, date-label, and store food; monitor stock and report low supplies.
• Assist with cleaning dining tables and restocking the dining hall.
• Check-in students and collect meals payments.
