Job summary

Poteet ISD is seeking a Cafeteria Manager to supervise, train, and manage the campus food service operation. You will ensure proper quantities, meet menu timelines, and uphold health code standards under the Food Service Director.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three years experience in institutional food service operations.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain work schedules and production records.
• Direct daily activities in kitchen and cafeteria.
• Ensure food production aligns with menu specifications and policies.
• Coordinate with campus principal on schedule changes and serve requirements.
• Train and supervise cafeteria staff; promote teamwork and morale.
• Maintain safe, high-quality food production and compliance with health codes.
• Maintain accurate daily/monthly financial, production and activity records.
• Order quantities and manage inventories for meals and supplies.
