Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 3–5 years in fire safety systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test fire protection and detection systems for proper installation and compliance.
• Troubleshoot and arrange repair or replacement of defective fire/safety equipment and elevators.
• Conduct building inspections to verify life-safety and fire-safety compliance.
• Respond to emergencies to assess fire/safety threats across systems.
• Maintain fire extinguishers, alarms, and sprinklers; re-enable fire panels as needed.
• Coordinate with contractors and review their work for code compliance.
• Assist in developing emergency procedures and training requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare inspection/maintenance reports.
