Fayetteville State University is seeking a Temporary Pool- Facility Maintenance Technician to support campus facilities. You will perform a wide range of skilled maintenance tasks across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems, execute preventive maintenance, respond to urgent issues, and manage work orders with limited supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, and the ability to work in safety-sensitive areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in trades related to the position preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required and clean driving record.

Responsabilités

• Work Order Control – maintain work requests and ensure maintenance is completed.
• Project Management – handle projects with minimal supervision.
• Preventive Maintenance – service plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems.
• Emergency Management – respond to emergencies as essential personnel.
• Air Conditioning Repair and Troubleshooting – repair and maintain AC systems in residence halls/apartments.
• Plumbing – repair, replace, and troubleshoot plumbing systems.
• Electrical – repair, replace, and troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Misc. Task Management – adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
