Job summary

Fayetteville Technical Community College is recruiting for a full-time Housekeeping team member within Facility Services. Duties include cleaning classrooms, labs, offices, restrooms, and supporting events and campus operations.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid North Carolina driver's license, and the ability to obtain a forklift certification within one year. The college offers a comprehensive benefits package and on-call shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid North Carolina driver’s license with 5 years driving experience.
• Forklift certification within 1 year.
• Hepatitis B vaccination or to be acquired within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Remove trash from facilities and support recycling program.
• Clean and condition classrooms, labs, offices, and common spaces.
• Clean restrooms and conduct event setup/teardown.
• Move and relocate furnishings and supplies.
• Perform litter control within building limits and support snow/ice removal.
• Be available in an on-call rotation to support campus operations outside regular hours.
• Support campus operations before, during, and after normal operating hours and campus closures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
