Galen College of Nursing seeks a Facilities Technician to maintain campus facilities and equipment, assist with security coverage, and handle repairs and replacements to keep the campus safe and comfortable for students, faculty and staff. You will coordinate with outside vendors, obtain estimates, and perform light custodial duties, painting, and basic repairs, ensuring a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift 25–50 pounds.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance of campus facilities and equipment.
• Install doors, locks, tables, and related items; repair as needed.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests.
• Coordinate and supervise major repairs with outside vendors.
• Assist with security coverage and monitor access.
• Perform custodial duties as needed.
• Obtain estimates for work and supplies; arrange vendor cleanups.
