Job summary

Chattahoochee Technical College is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform skilled and semi-skilled work related to the college’s facilities and grounds. The role requires heavy involvement in construction, painting, electrical and plumbing tasks across campus buildings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus one year of experience in a skilled trade or building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance and repair of the college's facilities and grounds.
• Install, repair and maintain electrical systems and plumbing for campus buildings.
• Construct, maintain, repair, renovate and relocate fixtures, furniture and equipment; perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Inspect automatic doors and ensure grounds are clean and debris-free.
• Coordinate maintenance and custodial staff as needed.
