Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of the buildings, grounds, sidewalks and related areas.
• Perform maintenance/repair of heating, ventilating, plumbing, drainage, sanitary, electrical, and other mechanical systems.
• Protect the school plant against vandalism, fire, storm damage and other hazards.
• Report repairs or needs to the maintenance supervisor and perform preventive maintenance as directed.
• Assist custodians and cooperate with staff as needed.
• Make repairs on doors, windows, hardware, electrical, plumbing, etc., as directed by the supervisor or President.
• Receive, store and place supplies and equipment as directed.
• Set up or move furniture and equipment as needed.
• Provide written records/receipts for repairs to the supervisor.
