Job summary

Lake Center Christian School is seeking a part-time Facilities Team Member to assist with day-to-day operations of the school complex, including grounds, buildings, and equipment. The role requires hands-on maintenance, cleaning, and adherence to safety procedures.

Responsibilities include inspections, responding to emergencies, installing equipment, and supporting renovations. The position requires carpentry/maintenance experience and the ability to read technical manuals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Carpentry or construction experience.
• General knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Performs day-to-day inspections, preventative maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment.
• Performs cleaning activities.
• Responds to emergency situations and evaluates and corrects issues.
• Installs appliances and equipment; performs maintenance tasks.
• Checks functionality of safety systems.
• Collaborates with workers during renovations.
• Performs set-up and tear down for events.
• Other duties as assigned.
