Job summary

Tennessee Board of Regents in partnership with Jackson State Community College is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate capital improvement and campus construction projects. You will manage scope development, budgeting, design reviews, procurement, and project closeout while ensuring compliance with codes and institutional standards.

You will collaborate with campus teams, TBR, designers, and engineers, review plans, monitor progress, manage bids, and support furniture moves.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• 3–5 years in construction, facilities, or project coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• CAD familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assist in capital improvement and campus construction projects.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, and coordinate between campus, TBR, designers, and engineers.
• Review plans and specifications for accuracy and constructability.
• Monitor construction progress and perform site observations.
• Assist with bid processes and project closeout.
• Maintain project documentation and provide status updates to the Director of Physical Plant.
