University of Maryland Eastern Shore is seeking a Project Facilities Manager to lead renovation and capital improvement projects within a dynamic university setting. The role partners with campus leaders, design professionals, and contractors to translate institutional needs into well-executed built outcomes.

The position offers responsibility across a diverse portfolio, with hands-on involvement from planning through closeout, and exposure to ongoing capital initiatives on campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Five years of progressively responsible experience in project management and complexity.
• Three (3) years of experience in a lead or supervisory role.
• Additional work experience as defined above may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for up to four (4) years of the required education.

Responsabilités

• Manage assigned renovation and capital improvement projects from scope development through construction closeout.
• Coordinate with campus stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to advance design and construction activities.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure alignment with institutional goals.
• Review construction documents, submittals, RFIs, and change orders in collaboration with senior leadership.
• Conduct site visits to observe progress and support quality control.
