Job summary

St. Philip is seeking a Manager of Facilities to oversee campus operations, including maintenance, janitorial services, transportation, nutrition, and safety.

You will lead a team, coordinate with vendors, and ensure facilities meet safety standards and service levels. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, you will plan daily activities, monitor budgets, and drive improvements to enhance the experience of employees, students, and guests.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
• Extensive knowledge of operations and production management.
• Ability to interpret financial data as needed to set production goals.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as needed to maintain reports, records, and budgets.
• Experience using multi-line telephone system
• Excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to connect with diverse people and organizations
• Experience managing the organizations type of facilities, equipment, and events preferred

Responsibilities

• Negotiate contracts with service providers and inspect facilities to meet safety regulations.
• Oversee day-to-day facilities operations and maintenance orders.
• Create reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences.
• Prepare facilities for changing weather conditions.
• Monitor safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas.
• Perform routine maintenance on facilities and repairs as needed.
• Schedule routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors.
• Plans and organizes daily activities related to production and operations.
• Measures productivity by analyzing performance data, financial data, and activity reports.
• Coordinates with other support departments to ensure successful production operations.
• Determines labor needs to meet production goals.
• Assists with budget preparation for operations unit.
• Assists with, or prepares and updates, organizations operations manual and policies.
• Performs other related duties as required.
