Job summary

University of Pittsburgh Greensburg Campus is seeking a Maintenance Worker II for general and craft maintenance across residence halls and campus facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, operate mowers and tractors, and assist with electrical, HVAC, carpentry and plumbing tasks. Must have a High School Diploma or GED and at least 3 years of related experience.

Work schedule includes Tue-Fri 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m. and Sat 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of related maintenance experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair of campus equipment.
• Operate campus tractors, mowers, trucks, and backhoes.
• Assist in electrical, HVAC, carpentry and plumbing repairs.
• Cut grass, plant shrubbery, mulch, and manage grounds.
• Paint exterior surfaces and assist with concrete work.
• Drive campus vehicle to pick up or deliver supplies and materials.
• Assist in loading/unloading and moving heavy items.
• Follow safety regulations and inform management of hazards.
• Complete work requests and communicate needs for materials.
• Support events and activities using campus facilities.
