Job summary

San Diego State University is looking for a part-time Aztec Student Union Building Services Assistant to perform repairs and maintenance tasks under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director of Facilities. This role involves basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work, as well as maintaining cleanliness. The ideal candidate must be currently enrolled at SDSU and eligible to work in the United States.

This position requires up to 20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Students must be enrolled at least half-time at SDSU.
• International students must have full-time enrollment at SDSU.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic/minor repairs and maintenance on systems.
• Assist with cleaning and preventive maintenance.
• Respond to maintenance work order requests.
