Job summary

Pioneers International in Orlando, FL seeks a Facilities Technician III to support operation, maintenance, and reliability of campus facilities and infrastructure. You will lead designated building systems, including HVAC, with responsibility for preventive maintenance, repairs, and documentation.

The role requires on-call availability, collaboration with the Property & Facilities team, and safe operation of campus infrastructure, including after-hours work when needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on HVAC experience.
• Must hold EPA/state refrigerant certifications/licenses.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong preventive maintenance and documentation skills.
• Ability to lead, mentor and train team members.
• Comfort with after-hours on-call and emergency work.
• Experience coordinating with vendors and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for HVAC systems.
• Respond to service requests and emergencies to minimize downtime.
• Lead maintenance staff when required and provide direction.
• Coordinate with contractors/vendors for projects.
• Maintain records of maintenance, inspections, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor system performance and recommend upgrades for efficiency.
