Job summary

Critical Playground LLC seeks a Facilities Design and Construction Manager to lead campus-scale projects at multiple sites, ensuring design, budget, and schedule integrity. The role requires coordinating architects, engineers, contractors, and campus staff to deliver high-quality facilities.

You will manage design and construction phases from schematic through turnover, review drawings, track RFIs and change orders, and supervise architectural interns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management; 2–3 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of construction management process: planning, design, coordination, estimating, procurement, scheduling, budgeting.
• Ability to read blueprints and apply drawings from schematic to construction.
• Experience reviewing and interpreting construction drawings and details.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize construction projects per deadlines and budget; coordinate with contractors, architects, and engineers.
• Review project drawings across design stages and resolve issues during construction.
• Track RFIs, change orders, contingency funds, and pay applications; maintain project documents.
• Conduct progress meetings and prepare weekly progress reports and updates.
• Design and estimate smaller campus projects and assist in master planning and capital planning.
