South Georgia Technical College in Americus, GA is seeking a Custodian to maintain the college’s buildings and facilities. The role includes cleaning, replacing supplies and light bulbs, moving furniture, and preparing spaces for events, with responsibility for tools and equipment and general upkeep.

Qualifications include knowledge of custodial tools and safety guidelines, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of custodial tools and methods, safety guidelines, college policies and procedures; and skill in use of cleaning tools and supplies.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Six months of work experience in the field or related field within the last 3 years.
• Regionally accredited high school diploma or GED.
• No experience is required.

Responsabilités

• Maintains proper care of South Georgia Technical College’s buildings and facilities.
• Performs cleaning, replacing bathroom supplies and light bulbs, moving furniture, and setting up chairs, tables, podiums, etc. for special events and college functions.
• Maintains tools and equipment needed for the position.
• Picks up trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
