Job summary

Herzing University seeks a Campus Experience Coordinator to be the first point of contact for students, connecting them with resources and staff. The role advocates for student needs and supports university departments to promote student success.

Responsibilities span front desk operations, onboarding, event coordination, and campus communications. The role requires on-campus, full-time availability and proficiency in MS Office and campus data systems.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or 3 years' experience required.
  • 1–3 years of administrative or operations support experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with CRM/LMS platforms; CampusNexus/Anthology and Salesforce preferred.

Responsibilities

  • In absence of senior or team lead, may provide guidance to student worker.
  • Supports administrative campus activities in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training.
  • Answers questions and resolves issues; escalates to next level when needed.
  • Trained on Herzing Hub to look up and enter basic information.
  • Responds to basic issues and documents student interactions appropriately.
  • Works with departments to conduct outreach to prospective and current students and records interactions.
  • Assists with vendors, contracts and custodial services.
  • Coordinates on-campus events when directed.
  • Keeps front desk, learning commons, testing area clean and presentable.
  • Answers questions and resolves issues; escalates to next level when needed.
  • Opens/closes front reception; if security not employed, opens/closes campus.
  • Schedules meetings, reserves classrooms and resources.
  • Files, maintains records, data entry, reporting tasks.
  • Administers assessments for academics and admissions.
  • Operates office equipment (computer, printer, scanner, ID printer).
  • Assembles orientation materials.
  • Sorts/distributes mail and shipments.
  • Monitors supplies; orders materials.
  • Processes purchase orders and invoices.
  • Assists with student orientation and onboarding activities.

Description

The campus experience coordinator plays an important role with students ensuring they receive consistent support and connection to resources, faculty and staff. This role serves as the initial point of contact for student inquiries, needs, and serves as an advocate to elevate concerns when needed. Additionally, the campus experience coordinator supports university departments in their responsibilities to ensure student success.

Requirements
  • Associate degree or three years equivalent experience, bachelor's degree preferred.
  • One to three years' experience with administrative or operations support.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office primarily Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in keyboarding, document editing, data management and up to date internet technology.
  • Experience with software systems and platforms for student information, customer relationship management (CRM), learning management and campus data. Proficiency in CampusNexus/Anthology and SalesForce preferred.
Compensation

Compensation is determined based on the qualifications, experience, and circumstances of each hire. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a tuition waiver and reimbursement program, health insurance, paid time off, and a retirement savings plan with company match. The hourly range for this role is $20.40 to $27.59.

Responsibilities

  • Supports administrative campus activities in areas such as recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training.
  • Serves as a next level resource to answer questions and resolve issues; escalates to next level when needed.
  • Trained on Herzing Hub to look-up and enter basic information.
  • Proactively responds to basic issues and, document student interactions appropriately.
  • Works with departments to conduct outreach to prospective and current students and enter interactions in Herzing Hub as directed.
  • Assists senior, team lead, or senior manager in handling vendors, contracts and custodial services.
  • With direction, may conduct coordination and planning for on-campus events.
  • Ensures cleanliness and appearance of the front desk, learning commons, testing area and general spaces.
  • Serves as a resource to answer questions and resolve issues; escalates to next level when needed.
  • Opens and closes front reception, and when security role is not employed, opens and closes campus.
  • Schedules meetings and maintains shared calendars; reserves and manages reservations of classrooms, conference rooms, testing rooms, and other resources.
  • Responsible for filing, record maintenance, data entry, tracking, and running basic reports.
  • Administers assessments for academics and admissions.
  • Operates office machines including but not limited to computer, print/copy/scan machine, ID printer.
  • Organizes and assembles campus material such as orientation folders.
  • Sort/distributes mail, prepares outgoing mail and shipment of packages.
  • Monitors inventory and orders supplies (office materials, shipping, postage, refreshments, scrubs, etc.).
  • Processes purchase orders and invoices.
  • Assists with student orientation and student onboarding activities.
Physical Requirements
  • Required to be on campus full-time five days per week once campus setup is complete.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position most of the time.
  • Must be able to regularly move around the work location.
  • Consistently operates office equipment which includes computers, copiers, and other audio/visual devices.
  • Frequently uses voice and hearing to communicate through audio devices and face-to-face.
  • Visually or otherwise identify, observe and assess.
  • Occasionally move, carry, or lift 10 pounds.
