Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education seeks a Campus Executive Chef for the University of Texas at Arlington. Lead culinary operations across residential dining, retail brands and catering, driving innovation and excellence on campus in Arlington, TX.

You will spearhead menu development, event planning, inventory control, and team training, while ensuring health, safety, and cost standards. This leadership role offers growth opportunities in a rapidly expanding organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience
• Hands-on chef experience a must
• ServSafe certification - highly desirable
• Experience with high-volume, complex foodservice operations
• Knowledge of food cost controls and presentation

Responsibilities

• Innovative culinary leadership for dining and catering programs
• Develop and implement menus for dining and catering
• Oversee event management from concept to execution
• Manage inventory and budget adherence
• Train and develop kitchen staff in food prep, safety, and sanitation
• Drive profitability by meeting food and labor targets while maintaining recipes
