Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education, part of Compass Group USA, is seeking a Campus Executive Chef at the University of Texas–Arlington to lead culinary operations for on-site dining, retail, and catering programs. You will drive innovation, lead a team, and elevate resident dining from day one.

You will manage budgets, food cost controls, recipes, and safety standards while delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced campus environment.

Qualifications

• : 5+ years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience, depending upon formal degree or training
• : Extensive catering experience a plus
• : High volume, complex foodservice operations experience - highly desirable
• : Institutional and batch cooking experiences
• : Hands-on chef experience a must
• : Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
• : Must be experienced with computers; to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point), Outlook, E-mail and the Internet
• : Must be willing to participate in client satisfaction programs/activities
• : ServSafe certified - highly desirable

• Financial Management: Drive profitability by meeting food and labor targets, while adhering to standardized recipes and portioning standards.
• Compliance and Safety: Uphold strict adherence to health, sanitation, and safety regulations, ensuring the highest standards are met at all times.

Salary: $95,000-100,000

Other Forms of Compensation: annual bonus, $15,000 relocation assistance, 401K match, excellent benefits, Holidays and PTO
