Job summary

The University of Notre Dame Operations, Events, and Safety (UOES) division is recruiting temporary/on-call Servers for Rohr's in our campus Hospitality department. As a Server, you will deliver prompt, courteous service, help guests with orders, and support a smooth dining experience across dining rooms, kitchen, and bar.

• Capable of managing time effectively with minimal supervision.

• Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time (up to 6 hours).
• Follow food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food products.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and enthusiastically
• Clearly describe and explain our diverse food and beverage offerings
• Accurately create guest orders and communicate them precisely to the kitchen and bar
• Serve food and beverages according to our high standards, ensuring continuous service throughout the meal
• Present guest checks and secure payment efficiently
• Carry food and beverage items using trays between dining rooms, the kitchen, and the bar
