Job summary

The University of Notre Dame Operations, Events, and Safety (UOES) division seeks temporary/on-call Servers for Rohr's in the campus Hospitality department. As a Server, you will provide prompt, courteous service, greet guests, describe offerings, and ensure accurate order delivery with warmth and professionalism.

Key responsibilities include serving according to high standards, handling payments, and moving between dining areas.

Qualifications

• Time management with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 6 hours).
• Follow food safety procedures in handling, storing, and serving food.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and enthusiastically.
• Describe and explain our food and beverage offerings.
• Create orders accurately and communicate to kitchen/bar.
• Serve food and beverages to high standards throughout the meal.
• Present checks and process payments efficiently.
• Carry items safely between dining rooms, kitchen, and bar.
• Perform accounting processes to meet server banking standards.
