Job summary

NC State University Campus Enterprises is seeking a student employee for the Talley Student Union. The role supports event setup, room maintenance, and customer service within campus venues as part of NC State Student Centers.

The position offers training at tier 1 ($11/hr) with potential promotion to tier 2 ($12/hr) and annual raises. Hours vary 7am–1am, 8–20 per week, including nights and weekends, with a potential end-of-semester bonus.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to carry, push, pull, and roll up to 40 pounds.
• Elevated oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to support other NC State Student Centers functions.
• Attend mandatory staff meetings and training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Set up, strike, and clean event rooms per 7PointOps standards.
• Maintain organized and safe facilities and work areas.
• Set up and store equipment with care and precision.
• Plan ahead to ensure smooth transitions between events.
• Provide superior customer service and professional conduct.
• Attend staff meetings and comply with student employee policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
