Job summary

Whitman College WEB Directors help create events on campus, either directly as event directors or in supporting roles such as marketing and financial management.

As a WEB Director, you will plan and execute events throughout the semester, manage the assigned budget, and collaborate with the Marketing director to design promotional materials. Start January 2027 with an $800 stipend per semester.

Qualifications

• Full-time student at Whitman College with 2.5 GPA.
• Understanding of event management basics.
• Ability to plan events 1 month+ in advance.
• Ability to manage within a budget and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to work with a team and take feedback.

Responsibilities

• Attend weekly team and individual meetings
• Regular attention to communication between meetings via email
• Plan and execute events throughout the semester
• Manage budget for assigned projects with WEB Chair
• Design marketing materials in collaboration with Marketing director
• Book spaces, entertainment acts, catering, sound & lights for events
