Job summary

Tarrant County College is seeking a full-time Technician, Endpoint Management at the Trinity River Campus to support daily endpoint installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices.

The role requires knowledge of MDM tools (Jamf, Intune, Knox, ManageXR) and some scripting (PowerShell or Bash). Strong problem-solving and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or 60 college credit hours and three (3) years’ related experience.
• Equivalent combinations of education and work-related experience accepted.
• Preferred: scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience in higher education or large IT environments is a plus.
• Current industry certifications listed in the job description are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup, configuration, and deployment of endpoint devices (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android).
• Support MDM tools such as Jamf, Microsoft Intune, Knox, ManageXR.
• Learn and apply basic scripting for automation (PowerShell or Bash).
• Perform basic troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.
• Assist with software installations, updates, and patching.
• Maintain accurate inventory and documentation of endpoint assets.
• Adhere to security best practices in endpoint configuration and management.
• Travel to campus sites as needed to support endpoint operations.
