Qualifications
- Rhode Island EMT license is required.
- Valid CPR certificate is required.
- Mental Health First Aid certificate is required.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Two to three years of pre-hospital care experience required.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care to students and campus community, including triage, treatment, and stabilization per RIDPH protocols and Providence College EMS policies (40%).
- Complete all documentation for emergency calls and report incidents to EMS Chief and Public Safety on-duty Supervisor (10%).
- Provide follow-up with students who required emergency care during the previous shift via phone (weekend shifts only) (5%).
