Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a part-time Dishwasher to support kitchen operations at Methodist University. You will help maintain cleanliness and sanitation across food production and service areas, and assist with setup and break-down tasks as directed.

The role requires the ability to walk/stand for extended periods and to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, with shifts that vary. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with no prior experience required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No related work experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, including basic concepts of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes by hand or in a dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks.
• Sweep, mop, clean floors and vacuum floors.
• Remove trash to designated areas.
• Clean equipment using chemicals to maintain sanitary standards.
• Restock supplies like soap, towels, and cleaning materials.
• Walk or stand for extended periods during shift.
• Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Attend work on time for scheduled shifts.
• Other duties may be assigned per account requirements.
