Job summary

Sodexo at ST. THOMAS UNIVERSITY in Miami Gardens, FL is seeking a Part-Time Rotation Shift Dishwasher to support kitchen and facility operations by maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in food production and service areas.

Responsibilities include washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, sweeping and mopping, restocking supplies, and assisting with basic setup and breakdown. The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, with no prior experience needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No related work experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, including basic concepts of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or uses a dishwashing machine.
• Cleans and sanitizes work tables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors.
• Removes trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Cleans equipment using specific chemicals to ensure sanitary standards.
• Restocks supplies, such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials.
