Job summary

Compass Group USA at Keene State College is seeking a Shift Supervisor for full- and part-time roles. The position covers a Saturday through Sunday schedule, 10:00 am–9:00 pm, with a fixed pay rate of $23.00 per hour.

Prior food service experience is preferred, and paid training is offered. Direct the activities of associates on shift, train staff, manage schedules, and ensure quality, safety, and performance standards are met.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a food service background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate the performance of workers, reward high performers and discipline employees who fail to meet standards.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure unit meets quality, productivity and safety expectations.
• Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• Mentor, develop employees and encourage advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
