Chartwells Higher Ed is hiring a full-time Shift Supervisor for New England College in Henniker, NH. This role directs the activities of associates on a shift and ensures assigned tasks meet quality, productivity and safety standards.

Position requires prior food service and supervisory experience, with a Monday–Friday schedule and PM shifts. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $26.00 per hour, with opportunities for training, benefits, and growth.

• Prior food service and supervisory experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
• Train staff and create work schedules.
• Evaluate performance of workers, reward high performers and discipline employees who fail to meet standards.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets quality, productivity and safety goals.
• Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or time-off requests.
• Mentor and develop employees and encourage advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
