Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services at Keene State University is hiring for Food Service Worker/Cashier roles. Full-time and part-time schedules include Sunday through Wednesday, 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, on-site at 229 Main Street, Keene, NH. Prior cash handling experience is preferred; food prep experience is a plus.

Compensation is $17.50 per hour with benefits and training opportunities. Responsibilities include cashiering, food prep, sanitation, serving customers, and maintaining service

Qualifications

• Prior cash handling experience preferred.
• Food prep experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs cashiering duties and sales transactions.
• Maintains sanitation in food preparation, service, and dining areas.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays between stations and distributes supplies.
• Assists with food prep tasks such as washing, peeling, cutting, and measuring ingredients.
• Ensures proper portion control and serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Relays information to supervisors and handles basic customer questions or complaints.
