USC Auxiliary Services is seeking a Food Service Shift Leader to join our dining operations on the USC campus in Los Angeles. This role supports management in daily operations, mentors staff, and ensures high standards of service and safety.

You will lead front-of-house and back-of-house teams, train employees, manage tasks, handle customer feedback, and uphold USC ethics. Minimum education and experience apply; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year in customer service in a retail or restaurant environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Leads back-of-house and front-of-house staff; assigns tasks and oversees station deployment.
• Ensures unit meets food safety, health and sanitation regulations and brand standards.
• Coaches staff in standard recipes, food prep, and customer service; handles customer feedback.
• Manages point-of-sale tasks, pricing requests, and inventory duties as needed.
• Monitors opening/closing checklists and communicates daily challenges and successes to management.
• Fosters inclusive environment and upholds USC Code of Ethics.
