Job summary

Elior Collegiate Dining at West Liberty University is seeking a motivated retail food service manager to lead a campus dining team and oversee all aspects of the department to ensure students, faculty and guests never miss a meal.

You will manage staff, uphold safety and sanitation standards, and work with leadership to meet budget targets while delivering excellent service in a dynamic campus environment.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience coordinating food service operations.
• Experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication skills with hourly staff and executives.
• Ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client/customer satisfaction.
• Experience with and knowledge of all Microsoft Office suite applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage all functions of the food service department and its resources.
• Lead and train a team of associates, including hiring.
• Ensure staff meet culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Budget for the department and manage purchasing to meet targets and forecasts.
• Coordinate with district manager on dining service technical and administrative aspects.
• Address customer service needs.
