Beach Shops at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) seeks a Residential Dining Manager II to lead dining operations with a focus on customer service, quality, and profitability. You will oversee front-of-house during peak meals, manage budgets, train staff, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards on campus.

Ideal candidates have at least three years of management experience in dining, strong PC skills, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Three years minimum of management experience, preferably in restaurant or campus dining.
• Strong PC skills and knowledge of MS Office suite.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of experience.

Responsibilities

• Must be present and engaging in front of the house during peak meal hours.
• Oversee budgeting, planning, operations, and profitability of the operation.
• Develop and implement staff training and development programs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and university policies.
• Plan menus, purchases, and assign duties for events or special meals.
• Maintain records of meetings, training, and performance.
