Chartwells Higher Education is seeking a Resident District Manager for Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, TN. You will oversee a large, multi-unit campus dining program including residential dining, retail food service, catering and concessions, acting as the client contact and leading the on-site team.

Responsibilities include driving operational and financial performance, building strong client relationships, and guiding staff toward service excellence in a dynamic campus environment.

Qualifications

• Progressive leadership experience in contract food service in higher education.
• Strong business and financial acumen with customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a large multi-unit campus dining account and team.
• Drive relationships with client and achieve KPIs including profitability and safety.
• Serve on district leadership team and share best practices.
• Ensure decisions balance risk and reward, with input from team.
• Represent Compass in district and community events.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the account.
• Ensure adherence to policies and conduct unit audits.
• Maintain USDA compliance for meal and retail programs.
